丹丹 passed away on Thursday. She had a smile on her face until the very end, and that sparkle in her eye that you only see in someone so immensely special. She touched so many people and was loved by all that were lucky enough to meet her.
I could write and write and write on my feelings right now, 丹丹 and what a special girl she was, but I will collect my thoughts, reflect, (sober up) then I will write it all down and maybe, just maybe put it to blog.

I am a total stranger but I have read your blog for a long time and seen your posts about Dandan and her photos. It has all really affected me and yes, quite frankly, I've been crying for her and you. Nothing I can say is going to change one thing for you, so I am not even going to try except to say that even a total stranger on the other side of the earth mourns her and loves her obvious humanity that beams in every photo. May you find peace in the future and strength to get there. Both of you are in my thoughts and if it matters to you, my prayers as well. I'll never forget her because of your words about her. Thank you for that. Forgive me if this sounds sappy, but I really have no other way to say what I cannot really say. -

Thank you. I'm currently writing down my thoughts and feelings about that day. I don't know If I will ever publish it though. If anyone would like to read it I'd consider emailing a copy.

Sat a long time thinking if I "deserved" to write a comment. I didn't know Dandan, nor do I know you. But I read your blog regularly, and feel sad to hear about her. I just want to give my condolences for what its worth.

Hey, Nick... its Nick. I am so sorry to hear that. I only had the priviledge of meeting Dan Dan twice before, but I can honestly say that I could tell she was someone special. I am sorry for your loss and for the loss of us all.
